My 101 List has actually been "done" for a month now, but before my time ran out, I did complete one more goal.
13. Visit Lana in California
I was so very excited to cross this one off the list and am sad that it took me three years to do it. Lana and I finally found a few days where we were both available to just hang out and relax. And lucky for me, she got engaged a few months before my trip so I was able to meet her fiance while I was there too!!!!! I guess the engagement part is lucky for her as well.
It had been a while since I had been to California so I was a little excited to head out there. Had some fun with the camera on the way (which will make Morgan mad...and Greg...they hate when I take pictures while driving). In my defense, 5 hours alone in the car can get REALLY boring.

Lana's fiance, John, was there when I arrived and we were all able to hang out that evening. The next 2 days were just spent hanging out old school girlfriend style...which includes hours of Alias, talking, laughing, shopping, and the beach!

It was such a fun and relaxing trip and I'm so thankful that Lana found a few days to spend with me. This was a great final goal to check off my 101 List. I'm also super excited that I get to go back in less than 2 weeks for her WEDDING!!!!!

One of my favorite things about you, Shannon, is that you do a spectacular job of maintaining and nurturing your friendships, even if that means that you have to travel to do it. Way to go. Way to be an example to me!
By the way, I LOVE that you took a 5 hr road trip by yourself! Fun!
All pics were taken while my eyes were safely on the road. So no worries Jihae! And the road trip was awesome. I love driving by myself with a good book on cd and some fun tunes to wake me up when the book starts to put me to sleep. :)

Good post friend! And yes, while I enjoy a good blog with pictures to illustrate your fun times, I also enjoy you being alive. :-) So, glad to hear you photographed responsibly.
