Three years ago I copied an idea from my friend Melissa and created a list of 101 things I wanted to accomplish in 1001 days. At first, the list seemed impossible but I quickly started checking items off and then it became fun. As time went by, I quickly realized that the goals you THINK you want to accomplish at one point in your life can lose their importance as time goes on. Overall though, checking off these items and making the point to do things I wouldn't normally do was such a fun experience.
Here's the recap of my first 101 List:
38 = The number of goals our of 101 that I completed in 1001 days
4 = One of the goals I'm most proud of accomplishing. I was very determined to read all of Jodi Picoult's books since I love her writing. She came out with 2 more books after I made this goal so she was definitely making it difficult on me. But I did it.
12 & 43 = Goals I did not enjoy completing. Both were physically demanding goals and at the time, I did not like doing them! I do enjoy running a little more now but I DO NOT enjoy Bikram Yoga. No good.
17 = Goal I most regret not accomplishing. I really want to get my masters' degree but the circumstances surrounding it haven't quite been good enough. I also need to make a final decision on the exact degree that I want to pursue. Hopefully this will get done soon.
1, 7, 21, 33, 34, 41, 58, & 70 = Goals that I started in some way but didn't finish before the time alloted for the list was done.
I really enjoyed working on my 101 List and blogging about all the different goals that I accomplished. So, in my final "check" from my 101 List, I officially check...
101. Blog about each of my 101 goals with pictures.
Thanks for following my journey through my list. I'm in the process of creating a new list and I'm excited to start setting new goals for the next few years.
