Happy happy Thanksgiving! I realized today that it's been over a month since I last blogged. I haven't really had much to say is the true story behind that. Life has been in fast forward crazy mode since I returned to work after October Break. Working most days until it's dark outside and then coming home to pack/move...oh, we bought a house, by the way. More on that later.
We are officially moved in now and with it being Thanksgiving, I thought I would list some of the things I'm thankful for (in no particular order):
1. Greg - My husband is one of the most caring, loving, and sacrificial people I know. He is an amazing pastor and a wonderful leader for our family.
2. Morgan living with us - Morgan has been living with us for a little while now and will be staying with us until she heads off for her master's degree. I was worried that it would be weird or uncomfortable to have another person live with us, but it's been so much fun! Greg and I both love having her around and she's a great roommate.
3. Soft water - Our new home has soft water and it is so wonderful! My hair is softer and my skin is so hydrated. Ah, the little things.
4. Courtney - My beautiful friend is such a wonderful example of vulnerability and perseverance. She has done so well living the life of a military wife and is really strong! I love that she pursues a continued friendship with me after all these years. I love her so dearly (and I can't wait until she lives in AZ again)!
5. Urgent Care - Today I am thankful for urgent care being open. After babying my right foot's big toe after a bad "toenail lifting" incident, it finally came off today when my nephew ran right into my toe. So, Greg and I had to spend some quality time getting my toenail pulled off and cleaned up. It was painful and sad but it only took about an hour. Thanks Urgent Care!
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving day and taking some time to really think about the many things we all have to be thankful for.
