82. Make a red bathroom
Before we even moved in, Greg and I decided to complete 2 painting projects: Greg's man cave and the half bath. Greg chose to paint his cave a dark brown...very manly. And I decided to make another red bathroom. In my first house that I owned, my realtor came up with the idea to make my half bath red and she bought me this really awesome mirror in Mexico. Sadly, the mirror had to stay in the house when I sold it, but the idea of the red bathroom, that was stuck in my head for good.
Greg and I went on a little adventure to Home Depot and decided on our paint colors and the supplies we would need. The next day when I was at work, Greg got the whole bathroom taped and removed all the hardware so that I wouldn't have to do any of that. So awesome! Then the painting began.
I was super lucky to have Morgan come and help me. We took turns on the ladder cause it was wicket hot up above those bright lights.
Finished with our first complete coat...it looks a lot better in the picture than in person. Red is really difficult to paint with and make look even. This was the first of MANY coats.
Coat #2 made the situation better but it was DEFINITELY not even yet.
Final Results:
The pics definitely don't do it justice so feel free to come on by and check it out yourself.
